What's the Difference Between CoolSculpting and CoolSculpting Elite?

At Astoria Laser Clinic & Med Spa, we are driven by innovation and safety to help you achieve the best results possible. Experience the invigorating art of skin rejuvenation like never before!

CoolSculpting and CoolSculpting Elite are both forms of non-surgical fat reduction that involve controlled cooling to freeze fat cells, leading to their breakdown and elimination from the body. The two treatments vary in terms of the technology used, the amount of time needed for a treatment session, and the results achieved.

CoolSculpting

The Legacy Machine

CoolSculpting uses Cryolipolysis technology which involves suctioning an area of skin into a cup-like implement. This is then exposed to a stream of cold air. The temperature is monitored carefully during the treatment so that it does not become too cold and damage tissue. Treatment sessions typically take between one and two hours to complete with noticeable results usually appearing within two to three months.

CoolSculpting Elite

The Newest Technology

CoolSculpting Elite takes Cryolipolysis one step further by using DualSculpting technology, which allows two areas of the body to be treated at once. This significantly reduces treatment times as it halves the number of sessions needed; with DualSculpting, each area can be completed within 35 minutes as opposed to an hour or more with single sculpting. Following treatment with CoolSculpting Elite, visible results can appear within four weeks as opposed to several months with standard CoolSculpting.

At Astoria Laser Clinic, we are proud to be one of the only clinics that has CoolSculpting Elite!
