What is laser vein removal?

It’s common for visible veins and vascular lesions to appear over time on different areas of the body. Though they are usually not a cause of medical concern, we understand that sometimes they can affect your confidence and how you may feel about your overall appearance.

How does laser vein removal work?

Laser vein removal targets veins beneath the surface of the skin with a laser. After heating, the vessel walls will collapse and close off. Over time, the closed vein is then broken down and absorbed by the body. Within several weeks, you can see significant improvement on the treated veins or lesions.

These damaged veins that are absorbed will be permanently reduced or eliminated. The treated veins and lesions will not come back, but others may form in surrounding areas as treatment cannot prevent new ones from forming in the first place.
