Our team at Astoria Laser Clinic will first assess your skin, patient history, concerns, and goals during an initial consultation. The VI Peel Body works for all skin types and skin tones, but there are a few factors (including allergies and other health conditions) that may need to be looked at a little closer before deciding on this treatment.

Our team will create a personalized treatment plan based on your unique skin condition and goals. It’s typically recommended to do 2-4 sessions total with each being completed every 4-8 weeks. We also advise not to wear tight clothes to the treatment. 

Any type of chemical peel treatment requires strategic planning when it comes to appointments, and we will provide details of what to expect before, during, and after treatment at your consultation.

During your VI Peel treatment appointment, you can expect the following:

• Deep cleanse to remove all dirt and oil
• VI Peel solution is applied in two layers
• Some numbness or tingly sensations may occur during application
• Your skin may turn white and your solution is washed off several hours later
• Your skin will start to peel around 3 days after the procedure 

We will send you home with a detailed after-care kit and instructions as well as make all necessary recommendations for the next week after treatment to ensure you have a comfortable experience. Healthier, smooth, and even skin is revealed once the peeling is complete in as little as a week.
